Appliance of thin-layer settling units helps to achieve more than twice higher settlers performance rate.Thin-layer units can successfully be applied while designing or reconstructing of suspended sludge clarifiers. Thin-layer settling units are being installed within water intake area on specific bearing structures. In order to achieve the maximum of effectiveness from the installation of thin-layer settling units it’s advisable for sludge removal scrapers to be optionally installed in settlers.
