“CROSS-FLOW” AND “AIRLIFT MBR” MEMBRANE BIOREACTORS AND "DEAD-END" SYSTEM WITHIN WASTEWATER PREPARATION AND TREATMENT (AFTERTREATMENT).

Ecopolymer Group offers to apply membrane technologies as the most challenging wastewater preparation and treatment (aftertreatment) methods.
Membrane technologies (membrane bioreactor, MBR) can be applied for both municipal and industrial wastewater preparation and treatment (aftertreatment).

Wastewater biological treatment and membrane technologies combination provide the range of advantages over the traditional methods of industrial wastewater treatment.

The advantages are the following:
  • availability of strong sewage treatment;
  • availability of productivity increasing or reducing without process technology changing;
  • availability of secondary clarifiers and UV-disinfection device application rejecting;
  • availability of operation within the 12-15 g/l activated sludge bioreactor concentration, which provides almost 3 times volume reduction;
  • low excess sludge quantity generation, which affects significantly its mechanical dehydration and reclamation price;
  • treated wastewater do not contain suspended solids, bacteria and viruses;
  • low power inputs;
  • application availability for different types of wastewater.
MBR consists of some piece of membrane units (picture 3), which affect its productivity.

The distinguished structural feature of membrane modules is that the wastewater supplied for treatment is directed inside the pipe membrane, which increase significantly its reliability.
Our company’s design decisions allow to design MBRs of any complexity (picture 4).
