In 1989 a group of scientists and engineers designed a new original tubular diffuser manufactured of polymer materials, as well as a technology for its production. Soon, the diffusers were successfully implemented at the biological wastewater treatment plants. The first product applications were a basis for creation of the Scientific-Industrial Firm ECOPOLYMER in 1990.

By the year 2000 the firm has turned into a multi-branch enterprise that is offering the whole range of products and services for water supply and sewerage facilities. ECOPOLYMER employs more than 120 people. Six of them possess Doctor of Sciences degrees and two are Academicians of Engineer Academy.

Successful and dynamic development of the company contributed to the creation of the ECOPOLYMER Group at the end of 2003.

At present our company is serving more than 100 million people in 15 countries of the world.

The products manufactured by the company are developed and invented by its specialists. Due to its scientific research and developments the company is constantly upgrading its products and broadens the range of its services.

ECOPOLYMER consists of two workshops for production of polymer products, designing department, department for construction, installation and startup works, marketing and sales departments, department for physical-chemical methods of water treatment, processing equipment department, and computer division.

ECOPOLYMER is a member of the Water Supply and Sewerage Companies Associations of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, a corporate member of the Ukraine Engineer Academy, and International Water Association (IWA). With many design and scientific-research institutes, as well as with the Ukrainian State Committee of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Housing Policy of Ukraine, the company has signed long-term cooperation agreements.

The company is spreading its international cooperation. ECOPOLYMER is the exclusive distributor of WEDECO AG Water Technology and an official representative of five foreign companies. Since 1994 ECOPOLYMER products have been exported abroad (India, South Korea, China, USA and others).

Not once were ECOPOLYMER products awarded diplomas and prizes at international exhibitions and congresses.
